Rule of play

To ensure everyone has a fun and safe experience, we kindly ask that you follow our Rules of Play:

All children must be supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times. Staff are here to monitor safety but are not responsible for supervising children.

General

  • Age Restrictions: Our soft play area downstairs is designed for children aged 6 months to 5 years. 

  • Socks On: For hygiene and safety, both children and adults must wear socks at all times while in the downstairs soft play area. Disposable socks are available for purchase, if needed.

  • Food and Drink: Food and drinks are only allowed in the designated café areas. Please do not bring any food or drink into the following downstairs areas: ball pit, climbing frames, tree house and slide.

  • Health & Safety: If your child is feeling unwell, please refrain from visiting our play café. We are more than happy to reschedule your play reservation.

  • Timing: After your session, please promptly vacate the soft play area to facilitate cleaning between sessions.

Behavioural Expectations:

  • Gentle Play: Encourage your child to play gently and be mindful of others.

  • Sharing: Teach children to share toys and play spaces with others. If a toy is in high demand, please encourage taking turns.

  • Respect for Others: Be mindful of other children and parents. 

  • Use Equipment Properly: Please ensure children use the soft play equipment as intended. 

Hygiene & Cleanliness:

  • Clean Hands: Please use the hand sanitisers provided before entering the play area.

  • Nappy Changing: Please use the designated nappy-changing facility upstairs.

  • Accidents: If an accident occurs, please notify a member of staff immediately. 

Safety & Security:

  • Personal Belongings: Please keep an eye on your belongings. Millie and Maisie is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Photography: To protect the privacy of all our visitors, please refrain from taking photos or videos of children other than your own without permission.

  • Non-compliance: Failure to comply with these rules may result in being asked to leave the premises without a refund.

Booking Terms

I acknowledge that the play session is designed for children under the age of 5. Reservations will not be made for children surpassing this age limit; however, older children are encouraged to explore alternative amenities within the cafe. I recognise the responsibility of providing complete supervision for the children in my booking while at Millie & Maisie, and I commit to ensuring they are never left unattended. Millie & Maisie reserves the authority to deny play access to anyone in my booking not adhering to these policies.

Play Reservations & Private Soft Play Cancellation Policy

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking. However, rescheduling is available free of charge if completed before the originally scheduled booking date.
